Metcast Handan Foundry Ltd is built up in 2007 by Metcast; the foundry is equipped with advanced furan resin sand reclamation system and excellent melting, fettling and heat treatment facilities. With the philosophy to provide best casting to the industy, Metcast HandanFoundry positions its marketing to multinationals byits international production system & quality standard from early beginning.

 

The foundry contains 2 workshops of 5.5k square meters each. The melting system includes 1 set of 0.5 tonnage induction furnaces, 1 set of 1 tonnage furnaces and 1 set of 3 tonnage furnaces, which makes the foundrys total annual melting capability of 20k tone liquid metal by 2 shifts.The foundry can make all kinds of grey iron & ductile iron castings, steel casting & stainless steel casting. It can process iron castings upto 3.5 tons. each and the steel casting upto 2.5 tons. each.

 

Metcast Handan Foundry has setup strategic partnering relationships with a leading Chinese metallurgical research institute & university to conduct R & D, training program and brand promotion.The second stage of investment proposed by Metcast involves the construction of 3 workshops comprising of 19k square meters with a single melting furnace upto 30 tons liquid metal. This construction program will allow the Metcast Handan Foundry with the capability to provide heavy casting facilities.Metcast Handan Foundry Ltd is located 400kms South to Beijing, 1.5 hours driving distance from Shijiazhuang airport and 3 hours driving from Zhengzhou airport or Jinan airport which has frequent connections with Chinese major cities and international flights.The foundry is 350 kms away from Xingang port and 400 kms from Qingdao port. The newly proposed railway, to be finished by 2010, travels across the industry zone and provides the foundry strong transportation links.
